Beatsons was originally located at the foothills of the Ochil Hills in Tillicoultry. Today, Sterling Mills Shopping Centre occupies this location. In 1990, the company moved to a larger factory in Alloa, a few miles away. Today Arrow is both a large general builder branch and the company's headquarters. In 1998, the store opened a second branch in Cumbernald, North Lanarkshire. Followed by Pennissick, serving the border in mid-2006, Edinburgh and Lothian and Dunfermline serving Fife and Southeast Perth County in 2007. In 2013, the company opened a fifth branch in Stirling, serving Stirling and South Perth counties. In 2011, Beatsons set up a new professional roofing division called Skyline Roofing.
