Orlebar Brown, based in London, launched in March 2007 as a more tailored approach to men's beach shorts and swimming shorts. Not so much swim shorts as "swimmable shorts," which provide something you can wear at the beach, by the pool, and then be smart enough to go for a drink or lunch. Originally focused on tailored shorts, the collection developed into a full resort collection inspired by the poolside utopia of 1960. Orlebar Brown took inspiration from Slim Aarons' iconic images of life on the Riviera and Palm Beach over the past decade. Not only does it make shorts look better, but it's also reminiscent of travel and vacations. Additionally, their love for summer also inspires everything they do, they create dynamic tailored products that make people look and feel great.
