Crutchfield operates mainly in the US and Canada, with products including video devices and car mobile audio, as well as televisions ,speakers and other household electronics. Crutchfield, a company made up of sound enthusiasts and musicians, currently has more than 450 employees and more than 6 million customers, and the number is growing. In 2007, founder and CEO Bill Crutchfield was inducted into the Consumer Electronics Association of Fame and the company's website, Crutchfield.com, was the first vendor licensed audio and video retailer on the Internet.
