Stegmann's thick bottom clogs are very popular in Europe, and the company has been selling its wool thick bottom clogs in the United States since the 1980s. A few years ago, Stegmann decided to sell products directly to US customers through their website. Although they are happy to interact more directly with long-term fans, they also value and support long-term retail partners, and encourage customers to try on their thick-bottomed clogs as much as possible.
