They are Mike Johnston and Janet Johnston. As an enthusiastic family chef and baker, they always like to create new mixes and recipes to share with family and friends. In 2004, they decided to open Savory Spice Shop in Denver, Colorado, combining their personal skills and experience in the marketing and retail fragrance industry. After their store's immediate success, they decided to further develop their concept and created Savory Spice Shop, allowing customers to buy anything online in the store. Based on their positive response to store and internet marketing in Denver, they were able to open a second store in Littleton, Colorado, and two years later opened stores in Boulder and East Denver. Since then, with the help of employees, family members, and professional colleagues, their efforts have made rapid progress, opening three more stores in Colorado and opening 20 more stores across the United States.
